R.C. Wegman Construction Company requests Bid Proposals on behalf of the Beecher Fire Protection District for the Addition and Renovation of the existing Beecher Fire Station located at 711 Penfield Street, Beecher, IL 60410. Sealed bid proposals will be received at the Beecher Fire Station: 711 Penfield Street, Beecher, IL 60410 prior to 1:00PM on Tuesday, March 17, 2020. At that time, Bid Package proposals will be opened and read aloud at the Beecher Fire Station. A non-mandatory pre-bid site visit will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, March 6, 2020. Bid Packages include: 02A-Asbestos Abatement, 02B-Demolition, 02C-Earthwork and Foundation Excavation, 02D-Site Utilities, 02E-Asphalt, 02F-Landscaping, 03-Building and Site Concrete, 04-Masonry, 05-Structural Steel, 06A-General Trades, 06B-Architectural Millwork, 07-Roofing and Sheet Metal, 08A-Doors, Frames and Hardware, 08B-Aluminum Framing and Glazing, 08C-Sectional Overhead Doors, 09A-Gypsum Board and Metal Framing, 09B-ACT and Tectum, 09C-General Flooring and Wall Tile, 09D-Epoxy Flooring, 09E-Painting, 15A-Fire Protection, 15B-Plumbing, 15C-HVAC, 16-Electrical and Low-Voltage. All Bidders will be required to furnish bid security in the form of a bid bond, bank cashier’s check or cash in the amount of (10%) of the base bid amount and shall be submitted with the Bid Proposal.
