Request for Bids


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the President of the Board of Trustees for the Beecher Fire Protection District, Will County, Illinois, that sealed proposals will be received for consideration of the following:

Beecher Fire Protection District
Breathing air supply system

Bids will be received until 10:00 a.m. on October 11th, at the Beecher Fire Protection District Administrative Office, 711 Penfield Street, Beecher, Illinois 60401 between the hours of 8am – 4pm Monday - Friday. Bids will be opened at 10:00 a.m on October 11th at the Beecher Fire Protection District Administrative Office, 711 Penfield Street, Beecher, Illinois 60401. The Fire District reserves the right to refuse to issue bid packets and forms to any person, firm or corporation that it considers to be unqualified. Proposals must be submitted in the manner specified and on the appropriate forms. Sealed bids should be submitted clearly marked “Breathing Air Supply System”.

Specifications for the breathing air supply system are available from the Administrative Office of the Beecher Fire Protection District during regular business hours. Interested parties may obtain these specifications in person or by submitting a request to the Beecher Fire Protection District. The Beecher Fire Protection District will not be held responsible if parties do not receive a bid packet.

Bids will only be considered from companies that have an established reputation in the field and have been in business for a period of five (5) years or more.

The Beecher Fire Protection District reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive irregularities in bids and make award in the best interest of the Fire District.
