Seeking Part-time Firefighter/Paramedic Applicants

The Beecher Fire Protection District is seeking qualified applicants for the position of part-time Firefighter/Paramedic. The Beecher Fire Protection District is located in southeastern Will County bordering Kankakee County and Indiana. Our organization responds to 1,100 calls for service annually from one fire station.
• Applicant must be at least 18 years of age
• Be a citizen of the United States
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Possess a valid driver’s license (Class B Non-CDL)
• State of Illinois licensed Paramedic
• Be certified as a Basic Operations Firefighter through the Office of the State Fire Marshal in the State of Illinois
• Successful system entry into Riverside EMS System
• Applicants will be subject to an interview, background examination, and medical evaluation before being considered for employment.
• Candidate Physical Assessment Test (CPAT) is desirable but not required.

Applications for Part-time Firefighter/Paramedic are available for download under the employment tab of our website or are available for pick up between the hours from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, at the District’s Station # 1, 711 Penfield Street Beecher, Illinois 60401.
